Review of wiki-page: OSINT – theory and practice
Today, we're going to review a wiki-page, which is about OSINT. We also will look through its strong and weak points, and by the end we evaluate how well this page is made and give some comments about it.

The topic
The topic chosen for this paper is OSINT, it is an abbreviation of Open-source intelligence. It is a process of gathering intelligence from open sources, where intelligence is a military term of valuable information.
The chosen topic is closely related to the cybersecurity field and in fact one of the SIGINT's subcategories. Also because of started conflict between Russia and Ukraine this topic is more valuable than ever.
Content
The wiki-page clearly shows popular way of gaining the intelligence through different open sources. For example, social media, exposed databases, etc. That wiki-page also shows the smart technique of linking data to specific person or organization and creating data trees.
As for the programs, the wiki-page shows several programs that real cybersecurity engineers use when it comes to tracking the activity such as BreadCrumbs and other.
Strong points
One of the strongest points of this wiki-page is the amount of explanation of every detail. It really could help user understand the whole OSINT theme and even try out some tactics. There is step-by-step guide to use some of mentioned tools. Also, it shows how you could use some search engines to your advantage by using special search tags.
Another great point is the amount of pictures. Those images help the reader see how OSINT is used to help gain intelligence and how interfaces of mentioned programs are looking like. It also used in connection with the text of wiki-page.
The timing where this topic is chosen is great. By that, I mean that in the world it is time where everyone posts their information online and it could be used by anyone who is ready to spend time digging through it.
Weak points
The wiki page lacks references and other sources. Some links there are inline, while other are in reference page. This inconsistence could make harder to look through the information. However, the references that are there connected to the text it follows and well defined.
Conclusion
In the end, that wiki-page have done well, there was a lot of good points and some minor bad ones. Overall, the readability of this page is good, the understandability is great, and the amount of content is also great.
